Okay, don’t cry but…#SAChat is on winter break from 12/29 until 1/19. But we IMPLORE YOU. Do not use that extra hour to just do more work. If you can, try one of the ideas below.
1. Take a real lunch break.
Yeah, you. We see you with that sandwich in your mouth, staring at the screen. Go find a couch to park that butt! You’ll feel ten times more productive when you come back after a real rest.
2. Get a workout in.
I know, I know, I wouldn’t do it either. But someone out there wants to be #SAfit, and this suggestion is for you.
3. Read something, for actual fun.
You know, that pile of HGTV magazines in the corner of your room. (Is it just me?) Or that novel your favorite author wrote that came out months ago.
4. Write a post for SAC!

5. Have lunch with someone you’ve been meaning to catch up with.
Be it a student, a coworker, or your long lost Aunt Bea – send that text and set up the date.
We talk so much about balance or self care. But a lot of us say that tomorrow is a great day to start that. Tomorrow, my friends, is never today. So on your calendar, in place of your #SAChat reminder, schedule one of the above items in that extra hour. Or come up with your own and share that idea with us below!
