This month, we have heard from student affairs professionals utilizing all sorts of mobile apps to engage students on their respective campuses. It has been great to see all the information shared, but upon reflection, the untapped potential is even more fascinating. The goal of this series was to create an arsenal of mobile technology SA Pros could use in their efforts to engage students on campus. And yet, there are always more stories to be told and more apps/technology to learn how to use.
If this is a topic you are interested in, please continue to challenge yourself and the SA community to utilize the mobile language our students speak. Not only will it sharpen your skills as a professional in this (or any) field, but it will deepen the connection you have with your students and the connection they have to their campus.
Thank you for your contributions to this and all of our series’ topics!
This post is part of our #App2Campus series, which aims to share ideas for using mobile to drive student engagement on campus. We will hear from all kinds of #SApros who have used phone technology to foster a sense of community and connection between the students, face to face. For more information, please see Sabina’s intro post. Be sure to check out other posts in this series.
