CALLING ALL WRITERS!
The Student Affairs Collective is looking for excited, passionate people to join our writing team! Ever thought about writing about student affairs and higher education? This is your chance!
Requirements
Do you work in or have experience working in student affairs and higher education?
Do you have good writing, editing, and proofreading skills?
Do you have something useful, interesting, and compelling to share with your colleagues in the field?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you should contribute to the Student Affairs Collective blog. While technical skills in writing, content creation, and copy editing are not required to be a member of the Student Affairs Collective team, it doesn’t hurt.
Expectations
Writers are responsible for a minimum of one post per month and retain full rights to their work to use and repurpose as they see fit. The Student Affairs Collective also retains full rights to use and repurpose any content created for the site. We ask that you commit to writing for the team for at least one year. The writing team is not just a collective of writers, but truly a team that will work together to create content and ensure the blog remains an active and current system of support and information for our colleagues in the field. As such, we expect everyone involved to respect the time and energy that each member of the team devotes to the blog.
Content
Okay, you know that you’re interested and you know you have the time. So, what do you write about?
You can write about anything you’re interested in that is related to student affairs or higher education. You can write about an event you recently hosted on your campus, an article you read, your experience as a student or professional, how the field of higher education is evolving, and so much more!
