A recent blog post on our site reminded us that taking a break isn’t just an ideal, but totally necessary. Yes, some of us might still have some work to get done. I think that it counts as taking self-care into account if you make a conscious effort to take time away from work, even if you still have a little work to get done. Whatever activities you choose, be sure to shut off work notifications, and be present in the moment. You need that!
